This home was designed to fit on a narrow block, with one side of the house being a parapet wall which would not allow normal windows. The only way to get natural light into the house was with the use of skylights. The owners cleverly designed the home so the skylights would light the upper floor and stairway, but also flow through to the ground floor via the void on the first floor. Clearview Skylights carried out the installation using 8x VELUX FCM 2270 Skylights with custom flashings. The VELUX FCM range are double glazed skylights designed for flat roof applications.
