VELUX Skylights installed in The Block 2021!

VELUX Skylights installed to the homes on the Reno Rumble renovations have a massive impact both aesthetically and functionally. Clearview Skylights can help you achieve the same transformation in your home!

2x VSE S01 2004 VELUX 1140×700 Electric Opening Remote Controlled skylights installed to the kitchen of this home. The only window option was a fixed pane at the splashback, which would have been overlooking the neighbouring house so adding the VELUX Skylights above instead gave our clients plenty of light and ventilation. Being on the coast, our client loves being able to open the skylights to take advantage of the sea breeze.

This home was designed to fit on a narrow block, with one side of the house being a parapet wall which would not allow normal windows. The only way to get natural light into the house was with the use of skylights. The owners cleverly designed the home so the skylights would light the upper floor and stairway, but also flow through to the ground floor via the void on the first floor. Clearview Skylights carried out the installation using 8x VELUX FCM 2270 Skylights with custom flashings. The VELUX FCM range are double glazed skylights designed for flat roof applications.

We installed 2 VELUX VSS M04 Solar Powered Remote Control Opening Skylights with Solar Blockout Blinds to these bathrooms of the Webb & Brown-Neaves Dianella display homes.

Our clients wanted to make a statement feature to their penthouse apartment; the installation of VELUX Skylights to their living room have certainly done that. 4 VSE M08 & 4 VSE M04 Electric Opening Skylights were installed in combination, opening up views to Gloucester Park racecourse and lighting up their apartment beautifully!

We also installed 2 VELUX M08 Manual Opening Skylights over the bed in the guest bedroom. Solar Blockout Blinds installed will ensure guests staying will get a great sleep in, but great views to the parklands during the day and stars at night wink emoticon

This house underwent extensive renovation and extensions by Peter Bodeker Constructions. During the works, Clearview Skylights installed 3 M04 Velux Skylights to the kitchen side by side, the central skylight being electric opening and the left and right skylights fixed. The Velux Skylights are an impressive feature to the kitchen. To the alfresco we installed 2x VS M06 Velux manual opening skylights with Solar Blockout Blinds

Our team knocked down a couple of walls and transformed a void in the roof space to a usable area. We installed 2x VSE M08 Electric Opening Remote Controlled VELUX Skylights for natural light and ventilation and to take advantage of city views. All structural work including framing, flooring, gyprock lining and flushing was completed by our team of carpenters.

We installed 2 VELUX Fixed M06 Skylights side by side and aligned the centre of the 2 skylights with an existing metal ‘I’ beam running through the roof at ceiling level. After boxing out the ‘I’ beam with gyprock, it has become a great feature along with the skylights. Photo prior to flushing and painting.

We installed a VELUX S01 Manual Opening Skylight to the kitchen of this residence. It fits perfectly on the raked section of ceiling and we lined with pine lining boardings to match the existing. Lots of great light and ventilation coming through the skylight as well as a great view to the nature and skies above. The client will paint the new lining to match the existing.

The kitchen of this home was very dark with no windows and the large sliding doors being covered by the alfresco inhibiting light. We install 2 Fixed S06 1140×1180 Skylights side by side with a 350mm bulkhead between and at either end to balance with the island bench. A fantastic result and the client is now adding a couple more to his alfresco area.
